Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you book or join a yoga or pilates class with Samui Yoga (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Koh Samui, Thailand. By booking a class or sending us a request, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

We offer group beach classes and private sessions for all levels. Each session lasts around 60 minutes, and mats, water and a towel are provided.

• Group classes are held at fixed beach locations (Choeng Mon and Plai Leam), at sunrise or sunset. Exact times vary with the season and daylight.
• Private classes come to you — your villa, hotel or a beach on Koh Samui. A small travel fee may apply for some areas, shown to you before you confirm.

Group classes run all year, with no minimum number of participants. Teaching is in English and Thai.

• All prices are in Thai Baht (THB).
• Group classes are confirmed instantly. Most are paid in full at booking; at busier times of year we may take a deposit online with the balance paid in cash on the day — you'll always see the exact split before you pay.
• Private classes work by request: when you book, your card is securely authorised but not charged. We only charge it once we confirm your session. If we can't accommodate your request, the authorisation is released and you pay nothing.
• Please book at least 4 hours ahead; for morning classes, book before 8 pm the day before.

Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

The easiest option is always to reschedule— it's free at any time. Just message us and we'll move your class to another date.

• Group class — cancelled 24+ hours before: refunded to your card, minus the non-refundable card payment processing fee.
• Private class — cancelled 48+ hours before: refunded to your card, minus the non-refundable card payment processing fee.
• Cancelled within the window above, or no-show: non-refundable.
• Private class not yet confirmed by us: your card authorisation is released and you pay nothing.
• If we cancel (weather or unforeseen reasons): a full refund or a free reschedule — your choice, with no fee.

The “payment processing fee” is the amount our card provider charges to handle the payment. It is not returned to us when we issue a refund, so it is retained only on cancellations you make — never when we cancel.

Yoga and pilates are physical activities. You take part at your own risk and should practise within your own limits. Please tell us in advance about any injuries, medical conditions, recent surgery or if you are pregnant, so the teacher can adapt the session.

Our classes are not a substitute for medical advice. If you have any health concerns, consult a doctor before joining. Please follow the teacher's instructions during the session.

Group beach classes take place on public beaches, where toilet facilities may not be available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your participation, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Occasionally we may need to change a class time, location or teacher, or cancel a session. If we do, we'll let you know as soon as possible and offer a reschedule or refund where appropriate.

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised date above. The terms that apply to your booking are those in force at the time you book.
